tool 8

A lot of the information on the tutorials and the reading was not really new. However it is nice to know that SBISD has a place where we can find apps for educators.

One of the only ways that I could use the devices could be as a center. Or the can be used as Alan Novmeber suggested; to have researchers in the classroom searching for information about the content being taught.

tool 7

a. Students will communicate in Spanish through skype by creating a story and having another student in another classroom finish the story.
b. I believe that I am not so accustomed with these tools yet therefore I will be implementing this tool the up coming school year.
c. Skype
d. One group of students will create and begin a story. Then they will connect with other groups in other classes to continue the stories. Of course using the content learned.
e. It is great to know that other teachers are right here to connect with!

tool # VI

Poll Everywhere
Poll Everywhere

The way that poll everywhere will increase participation in my classroom would be by giving and opportunity to the students to use their cell phones to answer my questions. This will encourage them because they can use something that hey are very comfortable with to answer content related questions.

The wall will help me communicate better with students in/out of the classroom.

tool # 5

These tools are really great to create and everlasting memory on what the lesson was about. It could be used as a set to the lesson or a summary of a lesson.

The tool #4

Google app could be use in the department to share documents. Goggle apps can be use in the classroom as another document maker. I am excited to use the form maker in Google apps.

El tooolo # III

I visited several video hosting sites. My favorite is still YouTube. The reason why, is because I can find pretty much anything. And I can also find many other videos done by students. This video embedded to this blogs is, one of my favorite as part of my curriculum.
this other video  i find useful as a hook to one of my lessons.

I was already aware of fair use but it was pretty good to get reminded of the fact that: "as long as students/teachers are publishing content to a secure location (walled garden, educational network or website that require passwords, etc.) they can pretty much do whatever they want – as far as creating products for instruction or to demonstrate learning."
It is pretty exciting that with Dropbox i will be able to access any saves files from any computer even from mobile devices. I find it useful in the classroom because there would be an ease of access to information for the students.

tool numero DOS(2)

Building and participating in a PLN makes me feel supported and like my voice could be heard. I like the being humble comment. The reason being is because as an English learner my vocabulary and they way a express myself is pretty basic. And knowing that I could be humble and be me, it is comforting while sharing my thoughts publicly.  http://edupln.ning.com/ will be a site that I will visit in the future because it seem that it offered true educators comments.
